Maps and Traffic Systems
where we are
Widecombe is easily reachable from several directions. If you're coming in from either Plymouth or Exeter way, the A38 is probably the best option, coming off at either Ashburton (Peartree), or Bovey Tracey (Drumbridges) and following signs from either. If you're coming in from more foreign climes, such as Cornwall, across the moors in Tavistock direction then following signs for Widecombe will get you into the one-way system on Fair Day. Traffic Officers will direct traffic coming in from all directions to the appropriate carparks.
car parks and one-way system
Opposite is a map of the various car parks and how to reach them and the village via the one-way system (9am-5pm). Traffic will be directed to the appropriate carparks by marshalls situated at key locations.
